Secondary Benefits:

    • Knife Shear Test (AS4483): Required 3, Achieved 60 repetitions.
    • Dynamic Impact (AS5039): Required 5 @ 100J, Achieved 50 impacts.
    • AS5039.3: 2023 SL200 Impact Testing – Passed all tests including repetitive 200 Joule impacts.
  • Additional Testing:
    • SHGC, Uw, Vt Test – Reduced by 40%, 14% & 46% respectively.
    • AS5041 Impact test @ 100J at edge of screen – 50 impacts.

Construction & Materials

  • Stainless Steel Sheet:
    • Grade: T304-2B.
    • Thickness: 0.8mm (Domestic) or 1.5mm (Commercial).
    • Hole Pattern: Ø2mm round holes, 60° staggered pitch.
    • Spacing: 3mm (0.8mm sheet) or 3.5mm (1.5mm sheet).
    • Open Area: 39% (0.8mm) or 29% (1.5mm).
    • Finish: Satin Black Powder Coated.
  • Aluminium Framing:
    • Grade: 6063 – T6.
    • Anodised – minimum 15um to AS1213-2000.
    • Powdercoated – Chromate pre-treatment and powdercoated to AS3715-2002.

  • Secure aluminium frame into reveal or face-fix position.
  • Install perforated stainless sheet via insulated assembly system.
  • Install emergency escape release mechanism if specified.
  • Test compliance and operation before handover.
